How Canadians Bank

The How Canadians Bank Study monitors the ways in which Canadians access banking services. This study examines differences in access modes used by various demographic subgroups, as well as by customers of each of the major financial institutions, and how these have changed over time.

Timing

This study is conducted once a year in the fall. The report and detailed tables are available in January.

Methodology

The How Canadians Bank study is conducted by self-administered mail surveys among 2,000 Canadian adults aged 18 years and over.

Deliverables

One copy of a written report and one copy of the detailed computer tabulations are provided. A presentation in Toronto can be arranged, if desired.

The Next Wave

Wave 15 fieldwork will be conducted in the fall of 2007.
