Telephone Interviewing |
Telephone interviewing is, by far, the most popular mode of interviewing in North America. It offers the ability to interview a representative sample of respondents in a short period of time. Telephone NetworkTNS Canadian Facts maintains three Central Location Telephone offices across Canada. These offices are located in:
These specialized interviewing offices support over 160 interviewing stations, with a supervising monitor station for every eight interviewers. CF FACTS NetworkInterviewing is conducted using our Fully Automated Computer Telephone Surveys (FACTS) network. The FACTS network is based on the most modern computer technology and allows both better data collection and faster turnaround. All centres are equipped with Datapac telecommunications so that both questionnaires and sample can be sent to remote sites electronically. There, the interviewers can conduct trial interviews to familiarize themselves with the questionnaire and begin interviewing. All functions other than the asking of questions and the recording of answers are controlled by the computer system — from sample presentation, handling of recalls and appointments to sequence of questioning and recording call outcomes.
