At present, spending on health care accounts for roughly 10% of the Gross Domestic Product in Canada. With a rapidly aging population, changes in the funding of health care by various levels of government, as well as new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of numerous ailments, the importance of this sector will only grow in future. Serving the public, not-for-profit and private elements of the health care sector, our practice is characterised by both a breadth and depth of experience that allows us to meet the challenges unique to research conducted in this area. Specifically, our approach combines innovative research methodologies with in-depth knowledge of health care marketing, as well as an appreciation of the unique challenges of entering into a dialogue with medical professionals. We are well-positioned to obtain information on complex and often sensitive issues in a manner that fulfils the technical needs of clients while respecting the integrity and goodwill of respondents. The end result is that TNS Canadian Facts provides clients with insightful counsel with regard to new product development, direct-to consumer and direct-to-physician marketing, brand management, and post launch tracking in the health care sector. We maintain a Health Panel comprising 15,000 households, accounting for over 37,500 individuals.
