1.	Where did you get my number?

It was randomly generated or purchased from within known blocks of published phone numbers, extracted from the directory, purchased from the list-brokering division of Bell Canada or obtained from other publicly available sources.

2.	How do I know who you are?

You may call 1-800-554-9996. This is the toll-free number for the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) of which we are a member. This organization was created to provide information to the general public regarding legitimate market research projects and procedures. They will verify our membership and can answer your questions about us and the code of conduct to which we adhere.

3.	Are you going to sell me anything?

We are in the business of conducting survey research, not sales to the public. We will never try to sell you anything or forward your name, phone number or any other information to anyone who would.

4.	What do you do with my responses?

They are tabulated and reported in aggregate with those of the other respondents to the survey. These data are then analyzed to determine general public opinion and confirm or contradict the research assumptions. The theory behind survey research is that conclusions can be drawn about the population as a whole by questioning a representative sample of said population.

5.	How do you preserve my confidentiality?

Your responses are separated from your phone number and/or name and tabulated and reported in aggregate with those of hundreds or thousands of other respondents. Since the data are analyzed in aggregate form, there is no way of identifying your individual answers.

6.	Do you sell or trade my name or information?

Again, we are not in the business of selling or exchanging names or respondent information. Our professional code of ethics strictly prohibits market research companies from doing this. We would never pass your name or phone number on to any other party without your express consent.

7.	For whom are you doing this research?

We have a wide range of clients in all sectors of the economy that come to us when they require objective and unbiased information about their market. To preserve impartiality, our interviewers are generally not told the sponsor of any particular research survey.
